My approach to counseling and psychotherapy integrates Western and Eastern Psychology, both of which emphasize mindfulness and individual empowerment.

Anxiety & Depression: Are you feeling overwhelmed or stuck in your life? Do you want to move in the direction of a more fulfilling life but don’t know where to begin? I’ll help you explore the complexities of your values, priorities, personality type, and strengths so that you can better cope and direct your goals in manner that suits YOU!
Life Transitions: Are you experiencing distress due to major life changes? You may be facing feelings of grief and loss when faced with a terminal illness, divorce, job loss, nearing end-of-life, or coping after the loss of a loved one. While guiding you to become more connected with your authentic self, I will compassionately walk with you to help you cope more effectively and mindfully with the new landscape laid before you.
Relationship Problems: The stress of life, major life changes, parenting, or money can get in the way of maintaining a fulfilling and rewarding relationship. Couples counseling can help you build (or rebuild) a stronger sense of intimacy and connection, restoring the relationship from wherever it has been to head in a better direction.
Other Mental Health Concerns: I work with adults and adolescents that are dealing with depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, work/school/life-balance, and those that want better relationships. I guide people to move towards a more open and fulfilling life. I also offer life coaching and career coaching for those who feel emotionally well already but want to take things to the next level. I’ll email you the intake paperwork to complete prior to our first session. If access to a printer is a challenge, please let me know and I’ll have the paperwork ready for you (in which case, please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your scheduled time).
In the first 1st and 2nd sessions we’ll discuss your history, story, and intentions for therapy.
In the 2nd or 3rd session we’ll form a treatment plan (a map of where we’re going together).
